Jesus 101 - Living A Life Of Blessedness

What a great night of worship & praise, followed by a message on embracing our trials and tribulations for in the midst of these things, The Lord calls us BLESSED.

How & Why can Jesus call that blessed?
We can let what and who we think we are define us. How does Jesus define you? Are they the same?
We can have Strongholds of the heart & mind but Jesus comes along and says YOU ARE
BLESSED.
Let's learn how to live in the Blessedness during our brokenness & dire conditions. He is in the midst of all our circumstances.

Let's speak over our situations..... The Lord is the stronghold in my life, I seek to be in His temple & see His Beauty!
When we are in crisis, We are in the most able position to receive His covering.
Pastor Steve used King David as a powerful example. A good majority of David's life was in turmoil, but yet He was a still a man after God's own heart, a true worshiper. He was able to find, live & rest in God's presence during all those battles. Pastor shared that he disagreed with Psalm 23 of merely being a funeral Psalm but a proclamation of blessing & testimony. A victory shout!

Word from The Lord from tonight's worship.
"Come to Me! There is no place in you that is Hidden from Me. There isn't any level of brokenness that can't be healed and restored within seconds of being in My presence."

Cindy had a separate Vision from God to go along with His previous Word.
She saw a giant tree with huge gnarled roots. There was an arched door in one of the larger roots. She prayed over the meaning and God replied, "Come inside the door to my tree of life."

Pastor Steve asked if anyone would like to share a testimony of How God covers us through trials.

Elizabeth shared that even during her darkest trials, that when she chooses to allow God to be God is when she sees  breakthrough. Her and her sons faith is being redefined. She finds the most peace and power of the Holy Spirit as she praises and worships.

Jack shared as a child he had to memorize Psalm 23 and it has stuck with him ever since. He shared he turns to this scripture often when he has doubt or is heading down a dark road. There's power and comfort in these words.

Let Jesus be your Savior in your times of trial,
Allow Him to be Your Canopy in the Storm :)
